Tanita Saenkhum is a doctoral student of the Department of English at Arizona State University, pursuing a degree in Rhetoric/Composition and Linguistics. She also is a teaching associate, teaching first-year composition. Her current research interests involve the issues of Second Language Writing, including first-year composition, writing program administration, and transfer of knowledge. In addition, she is interested in composition studies and research methods.

Tanita has presented her papers in the area of L2 writing at professional conferences, including Conference on College Composition and Communication, Symposium on Second Language Writing's Graduate Conference, and Illinois Teachers of ESOL & Bilingual Education.
